L-arabinose, also known as gum aldose and pectinose, is a kind of pentoaldose.Originally from gum Arabic, so named arabinose, sweetness is about 5% of sucrose, because it can not be digested by digestive enzymes and calories are zero, in nature L-arabinose rarely exists in the form of monosaccharides, usually combined with other monosaccharides, in the form of heteropoly.
