Berberine Hydrochloride


Berberine hydrochloride, an isoquinoline alkaloid. Also known as berberine. It is found in many plants of 10 genera and 4 genera. Berberine has antibacterial activity against hemolytic streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Freund's, Shigella dysenteriae, and enhances phagocytosis of white blood cells.
