Tocotrienol
Tocotrienol (T3) belongs to the vitamin E family and is abundant in rice bran oil and red palm oil. A small amount of tocotrienol is also found in wheat germ, barley, grains and some nuts [1]. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin discovered by Evan and Bishop in alfalfa leaf dietary supplements that prevents placental bleeding and helps restore fertility [2]. Totrienol consists of a chromogenic alkanol nucleus and an unsaturated side chain (isoprene side chain). According to the position and number of methyl , totrienol can be further divided into α,β,γ, and δ totrienol.
